About Meriah: I was extremely shy growing up, contrary to my out going attitude today. I accidentally became interested in modeling while attending a modeling/charm school at age 14. By the time I was 18, I had an agent and did my best to juggle college and modeling. I am serious about taking care of my body and mind. I work out 4 days a week, religiously. Cardio-kickboxing, jogging on the beach, weights, and yoga class.

Interests: Traveling, singing, going to the gym, going to Vegas, dancing, wearing sexy clothes and high heels! I love the beach lifestyle

How long have you been playing poker?
I have been playing for a couple of years.

How did you get introduced to poker?
I learned in college playing strip poker. I had never played before but I must have had beginners luck because I was wearing my clothes and everyone else was naked.

What is your favorite poker game?
Texas Hold'em

Do you have any superstitions?
I'm not superstitious really but I do believe in Karma. What goes around comes around.

How long have you been modeling?
I think it has been about 10 years.

What made you become interested in modeling?
I went to charm school which gave me a lot of confidence and I really enjoyed getting dressed up; it made me feel like a lady. 
 
What did you do before you became a model?
Because I got started at such a young age I was just in school playing sports and hanging out with friends.

Has your career given you the chance to travel a lot?
I have traveled a lot. I have been to Belize, Japan, backpacking through Europe, Egypt, Bahamas, Indonesia and Costa Rica.

What is the most memorable place that you have traveled to?
I was in Bali in Indonesia 10 days before the terrorist hospital bombing. I really enjoyed the culture and how friendly everyone was. They were so talented with their crafts.

Who is the most interesting person you met?
I met an old lady who seemed like she was 100 years old. She had dirty bare feet but she looked like an angel. I envied her because it seemed like she had lived through so much and seen it all.

What is your favorite and least favorite feature about yourself?
My favorite features are my abs and my butt. I think that those areas are the hardest on a woman to keep in shape and I am proud of myself for keeping them toned.

What features do you look for in a man?
I like the surfer slimmer body style. I like a guy who takes care of himself and stays active and healthy.

What are the things about a man that turn you off?
I don't like guys who are too controlling. It is usually because they are jealous or insecure. I also don't like guys who are insecure.

What is the worst pick up line someone has tried to use on you?
"Oh my god, don't you ever eat?" some people say that to me and expect me to take it as a compliment. I hate it when people say things like that to me. People confuse eating healthy food with having an eating disorder.

What is something a guy can say to you to get your attention?
I just want a guy to talk to me like I'm a normal person.

Tell us something that Mom and Dad don't know about you.
My parents know everything about me. I have a really close relationship with them.

Which celebrity icon do you idolize the most, and why?
Oprah is my idol. She is so successful and she uses her success to help other people. She didn't let her fame go to her head.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I would like to be hosting a television show. A travel show would be awesome because it would suit my passion for travel.
